Private Counselling.

We all face various challenges and obstacles in life which can lead to feelings of anxiety and depression and can have an impact on how we treat ourselves and our relationship patterns with others. With me you can expect a safe, supportive and challenging environment. I am a qualified Integrative BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) Counsellor and have worked in a wide variety of settings including:

I have worked with adolescents, couples and adults in long, medium and short term work around West London and am now practising near Uxbridge Station in Middlesex. I also offer sessions via telephone and online.

Talking to someone who is empathic and giving their full attention can lead to insight into sometimes confusing or difficult thoughts and feelings. Talk in confidence and explore your situation to help you to work out how to overcome and move forward positively at a pace that suits you. I see this as a collaborative process, not something which you experience passively – for therapy to be effective, both of us need to be active participants in the process.

How long does it take?

It is recommended that you start with 4-6 sessions of Therapy after an initial telephone consultation. Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and are often on a weekly basis to maintain consistency. I work with the following approaches:

  • Integrative Counselling (User-centered)

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Emotionally Focussed Therapy (Relationship and family)

  • Gestalt (Mindfulness)

  • Exposure Therapy

I have also designed the ROSE Programme which is a 10 week programmes which will focus on key areas that usually come up in 1:1 therapy.
